Am in chains you’re in chains too
I wear uniforms, you wear uniforms too
Am a prisoner, you’re a prisoner too, Mr Jailer

I have fears you have fear too
I will die, you sef go die too
Life is beautiful, don’t you think so too Mr Jailer

Am talking to you jailer
Stop calling me a prisoner
Let he who is without sin - be the first to cast the stone Mr Jailer

You suppress all my strategy
You oppress every part of me
What you don’t know, you’re a victim too Mr Jailer

2x
You don’t care about my point of view
If I die another will work for you
So you treat me like a modern slave

Wutah faya! The boys are coming back!

WutahWutah, one of Ghana's best duos, is coming back with a brand new album. It's sooo good I don't even know the title :-) Wutah's sophomore showing would be the mouthpiece for the less privileged in society. It is to tackle various social ills and blames the plight of the less privileged on the leaders.

It’s not like I was really born in these streets
But like these fly-overs and bridges I gotta make my ends meet
5 early morning off to pursue my dreams
Weekday up in my crib I never seen no sun beam

It ain’t easy, gotta hit the streets

The gospel according to Castro Destroyer

Castro DestroyerSo some of the juicy news in town is that, Theophilus Tagoe aka Castro Destroyer aka Under fire aka the Sakwabaman is going gospel for one album :-) The album which will be out early next year is called "Dea Onyame Ahyira No, Atanfo Ntumi Nsae No" (translated as "Who Jah Bless, No One Curse"). It also has songs like "Ebe Yeyie" (It will be well) and "Otiasifuor Ye Kwa" (the earthling/human being is nothing - something along the lines of humans being mortal). This would be unprecedented amongst hiplife artistes and we (me, myself and I) wish him the best.
