What happened to the first female hiplife group aka Triple M?
Do you remember the track Girlz Girlz? The song received massive airplay in late 2003 and it came as an answer to Okomfour Kwaadee's Boyz Boyz. Girls Girls introduced Triple M, made up of Mildred Mark-Hansen, Mercy Quarshie and Monica Tawiah, to the Ghanaian music scene. They were the first female hiplife group, even though they initially started out by singing gospel music in 1995. They never released a gospel album though. Another of their hit singles was Koti, a song about policemen who beats an irresponsible husband while his wife pleads for mercy. After the Koti album, they featured on Jay Q's Compilation, where they delivered one of 2003's biggest hits, Driver, which was the female version of Castro's Sradenam. Their sophomore debut was called 3+1=? (yes, you read that right). And then Mercy went solo, and we didn't hear much about the group. Museke.com brings you a quick update.

ADOLE IS GHANA’S MOST BEAUTIFUL
As if by design, the National Theater was besieged by fans of Adole singing and heaping praises upon praises on their newly crowned heroin a few minutes after she had been pronounced winner of the second edition of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful Reality Show. Indeed Adole deserve the crown as days to the finals she was cool, calm and very collected in her preparation to glory.
Adole might not be the fans favorite from the very beginning of the show but she crawled her way through the hearts of both viewers from her region, Greater Accra, and beyond. Her confidence, charm and beauty not doing away with her eloquence and knowledge were the key tools that took her to the finals and to the crown.
SOUL SEARCH AUDITION ENDS
The first phase of auditions for Ghana’s search for a gospel music gem, soul search ended at the Anaji Royal Hotel, Takoradi over the weekend.
The event which started last month in Accra, saw over three hundred contestants coming out to showcase their talent with the aim of making it to the final stages of the competition.
Event organisers, Global Media Alliance expressed satisfaction with the response to the contest. Producer of the program, Sena Atoklo noted that, Season One of Soul Search is just the beginning of greater things to come. According to him, “Soul Search, a TV reality show has come to stay adding that it is GMA’s contribution towards the development of Ghanaian music industry”.
NO ACCREDITATION NO ENTRY!!!
The family and funeral committee chaired by Harry Laud adhered to this rule as if it was Kwame's last wish or maybe he wrote it in his will that when he dies his family should give accreditation to people who would attend his funeral. For the first time in the history of showbiz in this country for a star like Kwame Owusu-Ansah to die for a so called accreditation and the right for this and the right for that to become a major issue for his final journey to the known. The death of Kwame Owusu-Ansah has brought a lot of issues from the media, from fellow actors, some family members and funeral organizing committee.

Kuborlor! In Ghana stories
Kubolor kubolor kubolor kubolor kubolor!!!
Last year Wanlov the Kubolor landed in Ghana after living in the states for over seven years. Some people were skeptic of his reception because his music is fresh, but Wanlov has allayed all their fears.
Before Wanlov's listening party @ Hypnotic he had already performed in Tema for the children at a fanfare alongside Kwaw Kese & King Ayisoba. He also performed with them at an ADOM FM blood drive held that very day and they closed the night with a live performance and interview on Meridiam FM also in Tema.
Wanlov recently featured with Reggie Rockstone on his upcoming greatest hits album on the remake of "Eye Mo De Anaa?" featuring Tic Tac. The Kubolor was so inspired to be in the studio with the godfather of Hiplife that he did not even waste time taking the track, produced by M.A, home to write to. Wanlov simply paced up and down in the studio while putting the lyrics together in his head and recorded it some minutes later.
