Kojo Antwi is definitely a legend in Ghana but I don't know if he is as popular as those listed above. It will be a good debate though. Which other legends didn't get here? How about Osibisa, Papa Wemba, Nayanka Bell and Ali Farka Toure? We only chose 10.

I see Fela Kuti and Lucky Dube are running a neck-to-neck race. How about some more votes for the legends still alive? Kuti and Dube were excellent, may they rest in perfect peace.

the exisistence of the list itself is an insult to the unsung musical heroes of africa.I'm sure many people in different african countries can claim at least a 100 artists 4rm their respective countries who should be on the list.In response to a claim that Lucky Dube should not be considered the best because he is not the originator of reggae,i will also add that Fela is not the originator of funk music.They are both geat artists who took "foreign" music fused it with their local sounds and produced great music.
Anybody who knows south african music wil tell you that Lucky's music is a mixture of maskandi and mbaqhanga.
