Dare Art Alade was born Oluwadamilare Dare Art Alade and is an R&B musician from Nigeria. Oluwadamilare means "The Lord has vindicated me". He is the son of the famous Nigerian entertainer called Olapeju Art Alade and Modupeola Afolabi Art Alade. He grew up surrounded by all types of music and was heavily influenced by it. He sang soprano and bass in church choirs as well. He has also been exposed to jazz, classical music, hip hop, among others.

He studied music and theater in school and sang in jazz clubs as a teen. He joined the National Troupe of Nigeria and performed with them. He also studied at the Department of Creative Art in the University of Lagos. Through Chris Ubois of Cool FM, he got a radio gig, hosting his own show eventually. He is also part of Chordwebs, an Accapella group that performs in various churches.

He got his big break by starring in MNET's Project Fame pop/singing contest, which landed him a recording contract with Sony BMG Africa. He was one of two Nigerian contestants and he placed third. In addition to his stint with reality TV, he also hosts a show on MNET's Channel O called Y'ello which focuses on Nigerian entertainment.

He worked as a DJ for 96.9 CoolFM, a Lagos-based radio station where a hosts various shows.

His debut album, From me 2 u, has various music styles.
