Chorus 2x
Ngumunt'onjani lona
Onjani lona
Ongafun'ukuzwa yo yo
Fun'ukuzwa
Ngumntonjani lona
Onjani lona
Ongafun'ukuzwa yo yo
Ukumamela

Impilo yethu inzima aph'ekhaya
Abantwana bayalila balambile okudeni
Sekunjena ngiyabuza ngobangazi
Ubumnyama busehlelele aph'ekhaya oku utata wasishiya
Ohh ngoku ngiyindoda mina ndiyidoda
Ndiyahamba ndithi ndiyekeleni ndiyekeleni

Repeat Chorus

Bhuti wami awundimamele
It's time to make a change
And turn your life around
Think about your sister
Think about your mother
They're looking up to you hay hay
It's time to make a change
And turn your life around
Turn your life around

Repeat Chorus

Hay booo mhlobo wami yehlis'umoya
Ngob'impilo yakho
Oh len'impilo yakho
Sisi wami ndimamele
Ngqaki zami zigqakile
Nawe ngokwakho ngez'ulunge kwezi
Ungumngani wami ixesh'elide
Oh yintoni na, kant'intoni na
Sisi wami ndizamile bomi bami buphelile
Nawe ngokwakho ngez'ulunge kwezi

Repeat Chorus

Goodness, this boy is fine beyond belief .. and here he comes singing the best traditional love songs too. Why wont the hearts melt at this point? Why wont they?

Chale's picture

where is the love part of this song? :-)

Didn't need to listen to this song a couple of times to love it, sounded excellent from the beginning.
I like Ntando, he has a great voice and his music is really good. South Africa probably has some of the greatest singers in the world.

LOL. Chale is the next Xhosa king, yes, I meant to put that comment under "Dali Wam'". Umuntonjani Lo talks about "What kind of person is this that doesn't have morals, doesn't listen and doesn't take advice. Life is tough, we dont live in it by ourselves, we should all be disciplined."

A boy that knows his roots and has respect too. Him and Obrafour could teach our politicians a thing or two :-)

Although we suffer from a severe disease of Ntando-scarcity, For the excellent brewery of his music and splendid presantation, on behalf of the community of mmabatho, long shall live the spirit of Ubuntu

Chale's picture

excellent brewery of his music?
lol, classic line right here

Where is Mmabatho?

motso's picture

mmabatho is the city of mafikeng in the North west that houses among others hip hoppers HHP, Morafe, Tuks senganga, presley chweneyagae

Chale's picture

That's interesting and thank you for the info
I should find out more info about Mmabatho and Mafikeng.
I wonder if there are similar townships/suburbs/neighbourhoods in Africa that house or produce many musicians in general.

I see presley's name, the guy who acted in Tsosti. Is he a rapper/musician by any chance?

motso's picture

There was an error there. Presley is not a musician bt rather an actor of note yet from this city. On the issue of music production I think the ability is lying across the grasses of the universe and mainly on the roots of Africa. The underlying problem is when it has to be unveiled. Many talents proceed undiscovered because of unfavourable social conditions. Im one of the victims of those circumstances where my creativities remain unnoticed but the sunrise of each day shines on me with a silent voice that i'll break the wall in front of me and of course with a trumpet and lyric From kwantu, Ndizamthuthuzela, everything is enveloped.

Chale's picture

I feel you on the many talents one.
Hope you get the chance to show your stuff and your creatives become noticed

i hereby write with sincerity to honour motso (mmabatho) wrtitter for her/his classic lines. he/she really drops a very hot lines and though i do not know much about this writter i hereby make a call to everyone who goes through this coulumn to lend a hand of help to ths person. you can feel his heart in his writtings and it's people like this who will sustain the good volume of our creatives like our hero Ntando did. Big up to you ntando, you rock

Chale's picture

motso's lines are indeed classic

am sure he/she has some songs to that effect.
leave us, send us some :-)

motso's picture

I've jst returned from the dark route;searching for my prosperity. Nothing much had been achieved but my heart roamed with happiness wen i go thru ths page & discover tht there are people who can smell my breath and feel the rhythm of my heart. I(dont get you on your finish line: send us some, send us some).
my sincere gratitudes

Chale's picture

send us some was referring to sending us your music if you've made any :-)

Motso, I heard Ntando has a new album out, have you heard the stuff and how is it?

motso's picture

If I hv to comment on tht words jst can't come out. The diffusion of Afro-pop, reggae, gospelish is everything we need this summer until forever. I bought the CD yesterday and was taken by track3-Ungaboni I ended up shedding a tear. I think Ntando will be an internationally recognised(if not yet) artist and here back home we truly celebrate the legacy of iKwantu. Halala!!

Swazibella's picture

The thought of a new Ntando album makes me want to cry a river I can swim across to go back home and get it.
Ayaaa! I know if I was roaming the streets of Manzini right now, I would have had it the day it was released!
Many trade-offs in life. One of them being this, hehe...nonetheless, I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed the album! The search is on!

:-D
