Juliana Kanyomozi, popularly known as Juliana, is one of the premier songtresses in Uganda today. She started her career as a karaoke singer but after releasing a couple of albums, she's shot to fame, winning various awards. She also recorded with Irene under the name Ijay before going solo. She is in a relationship with Kassim "The Dream" Ouma, a US based Ugandan boxer.
She grew up singing and used to do karaoke (even as young as 16) at Sabrina's pub, a venue which was helped a lot of Ugandan musicians enter the industry.

The former Karaoke singer explores a turbulent relationship and the resolve to move on. Ndifuna omulala (Ill find another one), Newoli kolotya, wampisa buubi naange nakukwaawa nabikoowa (whatever you do, you treated me bad and I gave you up I got tired of it).

Her music is influenced by R&B, and pop.
She is involved in a lot of community efforts, featuring on the A little bit of love project, a concert to benefit Rwandan genocide victims, and concerts in the Gulu region of Uganda.

She has opened up a boutique with her sister, Jennifer, called Juliana 'n' Voyage.

Some of her songs include Nkulinze, Mama mbire, Say Yes, Tombowa Mukwano, Taata wa banna yanni, Seven days, Usiende Mbali, Diana, Malaika wange, Yiga empissa, etc

Hmmm, why do these award things take forever to publish their winners. Sha!
The Pearl of Africa Music Awards (Uganda) took place 2 days ago, and Im sure our most loved and cherished won some awards or two. While we wait on updates, here's my most favorite video from the gojas songstress herself, Juliana. Kanyimbe is a gospel track.

She also has a new album out, I believe. And her new single is called Kibaluma, and celebrates her 10th year in the music industry :-D

Kanyimbe

means:

"let me sing and praise your name Jesus...what would I be without you...take away all my pains ..."

Hey! am a Malawian. I like intoxicating myself with the song(art) that people make. But yours is superble. However don't be complacent with it you need to do more-over and above thatn this.

The world we are in to this day is moving at fast rate, so you have to be up-date every day.

Ok
