The song Wafom came out in 2006, that's when radio stations in Ghana started playing it. The CD itself, I believe, came out in 2007. So that's where the confusion arises. Musicians send out some singles to war to see how they will do before the CD actually gets onto the market.

look i don't know what is wrong with u people on this website but u need to check this posting i did hear for daasebre gyamenah's wafom song. a coulpe of weeks ago i asked u all about daasbre gyamenah's song wafom was it made in 2007 or 2006 and nobody wrote me back. i am writing an angry letter to u all stating why nobody has wrote me back. i demand that somebody tells me was daasebre's wafom song made in 2006 or last year of 2007. please write me back so i don't have to worry about this problem ever again.

We just got back from a duty-full Festive season and have not yet found time to attend to yr request, which will be attended to now that things are back in fast museke mode. :-) You know we love you and want to share all the info we can. As for the album, apparently people believe the song itself first got airplay in 2006 even though the album was released in 2007. But whether it was 06 or 07, its still music to yr ears :)

Like I said, Wafom started getting airplay in 2006 and the CD came out in 2007. You should know that in Ghana, cassettes come out before CDs, so the cassette mat have come out in 2006 (I don't know that for sure). So when they say an album was released in 2006, they may be saying, oh, Daasebre has launched the album, which is different from when Wafom is first played, when the first cassette shows up at kantamanto (popular market in Accra, Ghana) or when the CD appears in Wayoosi.co.uk's database.

If you ask me, I'll say Wafom was fully released in 2007.
