Blu*3
Blu*3 (Black Ladies from Uganda 3) burst onto the music scene after winning the Coca Cola Popstars contest in Uganda on the back of hit songs Frisky and Hitaji (Sema won from Kenya and Wakilisha from Tanzania). It is made up of Cinderella Sanyu, Lillian Mbabazi and Jackie Chandiru. They have been hailed as the Uganda (and Africa) version of Destiny's Child. They sing mostly in Luganda, Swahili and English. Their music is almost R&B and their producer is one of Uganda's finest - Steve Jean. Some other popular songs include Tomalako, Nkulowoza, Best Friend, Fly away, Don't Say, Nsanyuka naawe, Woah, etc.

Chagga
Geoffrey Kyagambidwa aka Chagga is a musician from Uganda whose music is influenced by Reggae, Ragga and Afrobeat. He started in a church choir after which he joined an R&B group called Extra Grim. He then went into the hip hop scene (Bataka Underground). He once backed another famous Ugandan musician, Chameleone with which he formed the Leone Island Crew with Weasel, Mowzey, Mr X, Lizard, etc. Some of his popular songs are Ninze, Waligwa, Sikilaba, Jangu eno, Kabiite, Omutimagwange, etc.

Chameleon
Joseph Mayanja aka Chameleone, is a song-writer, emcee, artist and one of the biggest musicians in East Africa. His style of music is influenced by Afrobeat, Ragga, Dancehall, and uses a style that those in ragga circles called 'ruff neck'. He is known as Uganda's Michael Jackson. He won an open competition to write his school's national anthem, and then started singing in clubs like Club Ecstasy where he honed a career as an MC, one which took him to Kenya (Ogopa DJ's), Burundi and Rwanda. He sings in Luganda, Kiswahili, Rwandese, English, etc. He owns a recording label called Leone Island which features his younger brother, Weasel. Some of his hit songs over the years include Bageya, Gwe Wange, Kabwa nango, Mama Mia, Tompitangako, Saama, Cyane (Rwandese), Nekolela mali, Ndio Wewe, Mambo Bado, Jamila, Gwenafuna, Nkusaba, Kipepewo, Befuula, Atufako.
