Gal Level is an R&B girl group from Namibia made up of Daphne Willibard and Frieda Haindaka. They are very popular in Namibia and recently got nominated for the Channel O Africa music awards. They have been compared to Destiny Child.

The duo have lived together for 8 years. Once members of the dungeon family, Daphne and Frieda combined their talents to form "Gal level". After the dungeon family broke up in 2000 the girls reconnected with Sula who had also been the manager of dungeon family. T

The group blasted onto the Namibian music scene in October 2005 with their tantalizing debut single titled “Shake it”, which took the country by storm and claimed the number 1 spot on most of the local radio stations. Like a vicious cyclone the single engulfed the nation and the young and old were vigorously shaken by “shake it”. A follow up album also called” Shake It” was launched with overwhelming success and it was received by the nation as a milestone in the Namibian Industry. It came as no surprise when the girls scooped the prestigious best newcomer award at Sanlam Music Awards in 2005.

Their inspiration comes from life itself and they sing about their personal experiences, those of people close to them and about things that affect society.

Their second album, "act Like You Know", was released in April 2007.

They have performed along side South African artists such as Jamali Brickz, Mzekezeke, Malaika, Ringo and Bongo Maffin. Gal level have done collaborations with international rock artist Finn, Nyashinski from Kenya, Kenyan artist Kenzo under Ogopa DJ's and Scar a renowned hip hop artist from Botswana.

Some of their hit songs include Shake it, Lala, Obsession, Move ur body, Oops, and Amushe.
