When one thinks of Namibian kwaito, one thinks THE DOGG. Also known as the KWAITO MASTER and christened as Moroky , THE DOGG has taken the Namibian music industry by storm with his ear-catching lyrics and body-moving beats. Born on the 31st of March 1983 in the town of Maheba, Zambia, he was repatriated back home to Namibia where he began his formal education at Onayena Primary School situated in East Ondangwa, a town in the north of Namibia.

Lady May is a singer from Namibia but was born in Angola. Lady May started singing seriously and writing her own lyrics from the age of 12.

When she was 18, she released her debut album called ‘Kamaali' which in the Namibian language, Oshiwambo, means Little Martha’) in 2005. She performs She combines R&B sounds with Afro-pop and traditional music from Namibia.

Lady may's recent hit, Chokola, was shot in Namibia in two locations by Tim Huebschle as part of an MTVBase Africa initiative.
