Wanlov and M3nsa bare it all ‘Coz Ov Moni’
We once reported news of Wanlov & Kwaku-T appearing in a film called Scar. Not much has been heard of it since but fresh news talks about the FOKN BOIS (Wanlov & M3nsa) in a musical called 'Coz ov moni' (Because of Money). The two have collaborated on a lot of projects lately, including Broken language, etc.
Ameyaw Debrah writes - I am sure that Ghanaians by now have gotten used to seeing rapper Wanlov walking bare-footed in town in the usual wrap around his waist with little or no underpants beneath. However the free spirited artist together with friend and acclaimed composer/rapper/producer M3nsa, reveal a lot more on tape for their upcoming movie, ‘Coz Ov Moni’. The two musicians weren’t shy at all in showing bits of the backsides in several scenes in the simply hilarious flick. At a recent press preview, the two new members to the acting fraternity explained that the nudity in the flick wasn’t in bad taste because it is not sexual in nature. So don’t expect another ‘Heart of Men’!

I bring what I love - A movie about Youssou Ndour
Youssou Ndour is a candidate for Museke.com's favourite African music legend poll. It's not the only award he's running for these days. A film has been made about him, titled 'I bring what I love'. It is written, directed and co-produced by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi. The movie chronicles events surrounding the release of Youssou's Egypt album, in which he tried to shed 'Islam' in a positive light. It was highly successful abroad but generated a lot of controversy in his home country of Senegal.
This is not the first time he has appeared in a movie or documentary. In 'Amazing Grace', as Olaudah Equiano, he acted as a central figure in the abolitionist movement in Great Britain and he was also on the movie's soundtrack. In 'Retour à Gorée', he played himself, journeying from the island of Gorée to the USA and back, exploring the origins of jazz, which go back to the era of slave trade in Africa, through a concert performed by an international group of artists. Osuofia don come back again with his funny music
Nkem Owoh is one of the most sought after actors in Nollywood, the third biggest movie industry in the world. He is most popular for his role in the blockbuster, Osuofia in London (Parts 1 and 2). Sometime in 2004, he tried his hand on music and delivered the timeless classic I go chop you dollar which was used by ABC's 20/20 television show in their feature on the 419 (advanced fee fraud) phenomenon. Nkem Owoh is back again with more music and he's featuring rappers amongst others. Meet Osuofia the highlife musician. You can see his previous hits at his Museke page. Below are some of the newer tracks.
NO ACCREDITATION NO ENTRY!!!
The family and funeral committee chaired by Harry Laud adhered to this rule as if it was Kwame's last wish or maybe he wrote it in his will that when he dies his family should give accreditation to people who would attend his funeral. For the first time in the history of showbiz in this country for a star like Kwame Owusu-Ansah to die for a so called accreditation and the right for this and the right for that to become a major issue for his final journey to the known. The death of Kwame Owusu-Ansah has brought a lot of issues from the media, from fellow actors, some family members and funeral organizing committee.
