Akesifour is a music duo from Ghana. Akesifour means big people and the group is made up of Ras Biggie (ragga) and Big Joe (Reggae). They represent Tema Community 2.

Their debut hit, African Girl had a Ghana music award nomination.

I think it is a beautiful song and with better promotion could have gone far.

It's funny how many African artistes are trying to follow 2Face Idibia's footsteps with African Queen to make more hits (like this song, 5 5's African girls, Lenny and Kunguru's African woman - Kokovelli and Amingo both have songs with the same name, Nayo's African girl, African lady by Samini, etc, etc)

2Baba must have set the bar too high.

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing a while ago. Seems many more musicians are singing of the African woman's beauty these days, and I definitely think it stems from the world's response to 2face's African queen. Probably, such songs are most popular among the ladies, and hence popular among the men that want to impress them. hehe, well. thats my theory.
Either way, I know I'm not complaining. :-D
