Cindy Thompson is a gospel musician in Ghana, best known for her chart-topping hit, Awurade Kasa released in 2000. Awurade Kasa was used in the New Patriotic Party's political campaigns in the 2000 election year and ultimately helped them wrestle power from the incumbent NDC government.

Does anyone know what happened to Cindy Thompson? Haven't heard any new music from her in about 3 years. Her albums after Cindy's Messiah didn't do too well.
