how could m.i win the best hip hop award and why will dbanj wiin the artiste of the year and didnt win the best male award.
for all i care nigeria artiste should have won every thing cos they are the best.

hi, MAMA is a really nice concept and it has gone a long way to encourage Hip Hop artists in a few African countries. to this i say Kudos and more grease to your sore elbows. but, MAMA does not represent the whole music corp in Africa. i know that not all African countries are blessed with Hip Hop gurus of international repute, but this in itself is not a bulwark for MAMA to streamline and confine its award to a few African countries. i do not find it funny to think or even see that all the fuss that has come with MAMA is emanating from and directed to a hand few of African countries. Yes i accept Nigeria, Ghana and the almighty South African are pace setters in the African music scene. this however is not ample elbow room for the organizers of MAMA to restrict their awards to these countries. you might think that people have not noticed this disparity and favoritism but if they have not, then they will. if you ask me, I'd say MTv is a tool of manipulation and assimilation. why not sort out real African Musicians such as Salif Keita, Youssouf Ndou, Manu Debango etc and bestow on them the recognition, appreciation and spot light that they deserve in fact......................nirogspro

i was so shock to see m.i as the best hiphop artist of the year.taking away nothing from he is talented and i love his concept but he was'nt wort the award.we should consider rappers like mode 9,terry tha rapman.he was a nominee,cool,but i don't think he was wort the task.
secondly d'banj was awarded the best artist of the year why?i think he should have been awarded best male artist or best performer.well one more thing fuck MAMA.
