Celestine Donkor is a Ghanaian gospel musician. She also goes by Gospel Soldier.
Celestine hails from the Volta region and was born to Elder Gabriel Akakpo and Mrs. Hanna Akakpo. She schooled at St Augustine’s Preparatory/JS School in Abeka Lapaz after which she enrolled at Nsaaniya Secondary Business School at Kasoa for her senior secondary certificate. Her education was founded by Hall of famer Barima Azumah Nelson and the International Solid foundation Ministry. When she was sixteen, she met Mr. Fred Kyei Mensah aka Fredyma who brought her into the music industry as backing vocalist.
She sings in Ewe, Twi, Ga, Hausa and English. She has worked with musicians like Great Ampong, Cee, Pastor Lenny Akpadi, Pastor Josh Laryea, Balaman and featured on Philipa Baafi's hit, Go high. Her latest musical effort, "Supernatural", "Is the prophetic declaration of International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) for 2009
Celestine is on the Dynamics Unlimited record label and is married to Mr. Emmanuel Donkor and they have two beautiful girls, Ohemaa and Maa Adwoa.
She has 2 albums to her credit and is the most featured so far, very dynamic and one in a million when it comes to vocal performance.
