Which African country has the best hip-hop?

We have an ongoing thread about Africa's best rapper and emcees but which African country has the best hip-hop? Do you think we can make a distinction between having the best rappers and having the best hip-hop music (content-wise), etc?

RDCongo has summa de best hiphop.. Also Senegal. Serious lyrics and politics.
Sentiment apart brothers,d quality of the songs,lyrics,originality,streetwise,pacaging,and last but not d least quality videos defines d nigerian hiphop and general music as d best in Africa...see 4 urself,its written all over...peace
African Hip-Hop is not wacked, it's some of the best in the world. Senegalese hip hop has been the most famous for its lyrics and politics. Check out the Democracy in Dakar series. I didn't know too much about RD Congo Hip-Hop, who are some of the rappers?

GHANA HIPHOP also Known As HipLife... Is da most original form ever...I've been all over africa and listened To tunez everywhere and when it comes to originality based on BEATS, LYRICS, CONTENTS & AFRICAN INFLUENCE.. Ghana and Tanzania reigns...
Nigeria got sum good catchy songs but very poor contents and nigerians try to mimic the western and carribean type of beats, which makes them Wannabe's....Congo has no contents at all, just beats and dancing...Senegal has good contents but the beats are too american and n catchy melodies...Tanzania is got everything set out, but they r a bit inferior to the Ghanaians..
HIPHOP IN AFRIKA ANALYSED!!!
I think we have to remove genres like hiplife, genge and kwaito from the discussion and concentrate on hip-hop.
So we should consider Ghanaian hip-hop and not hiplife, South African hip-hop and not Kwaito, if you get what I mean
I ve listened 2 sm few Ghana's hiphop or hiplife or what is it called but God d stuff is totally wacked!..south Africa's hip hop is even better than their's which hav nice videos but poor lyrics/content.and d senegalese, hiphop aint based on politics only,poor lyrics and 2 bad/poor videos...Nigerian hiphop parades d best of real hiphop musicians(e.g tuface,psquare,dbanj,weird mc,Naeto c,modenine and sm large psyco rapper females (kemistry,Blaze,sasha,)an average ghanian will testify that he/she knows at least 3 of d above mentioned artistes.bt ask a Nigerian abt a ghanian musician nt 2 talk of an hiphop artiste and they go dumb!.. then d Nigerian hiphop videos is totally classic! Best of lyrics....hiphop is different 4rm traditional music.try 2 get that.OK
i think Ghana rules in hip hop e.g the game by obour n so on.
Good music comes 4rm Nigeria!.we can argue that on and on.but keep talking......Naija rules d hiphop world in d Afrikan Kontinent! $$Yahoo--zeee$$!
