Great Ampong's full name is Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong and he hails from Twifu Nyinase, Ghana.

He is a member of the North Kaneshie SDA in Accra. He has been inspired by Kyei Baffour, an SDA gospel star and a great exponent of SDA gospel music.

His debut album was 'Osofo Akasa', followed by 'Nyame do Me with Isaac Show Boy'. That album and the 'Hosanna' made good impressions on the Ghanaian gospel scene. He also collaborated with Cee and Isaac Showboy in a number of songs as they are all produced by Bandex Music.

He's working on a new LP to be released soon titled "Akokofunu Flavour" (Dead chicken flavour)".
