Samson Uche Mogekwu (Samsong) is a talented and gifted gospel artiste from Nigeria with a difference. The young singer who hails from Ibuzo in Delta State studied Accounting at Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma in Nigeria and is based in FCT Abuja.

Samsong has been singing since he was eight years old. While in secondary school, there were three people bearing Samson. The poet became Sampoet, the dramatist Samdrama and he became Samsong.
He then joined a group called Praise Creation (PeeCee) in 1991 while he was in university. They were into Accapela music. In 1993, after securing a manager called Mr. Ben Olaiya, they started singing professionally. He taught them the profession of music. The group released their first album in 1996 titled Best of Life.

Now Samsong, as a solo artist, has released two albums. His debut album titled Count Your Blessings has done extremely well at home and abroad. He has just released his second album titled World of My Dreams featuring the hit single 'Bianule' and guest appearances by Styl plus, Onyeka Onwenu amongst others.

He released his third album in 2007 called Brigther Day.

He worships at Christ Embassy in Nigeria.

Some of his songs are heaven, God is reaching out to you, If God B4Mi, Liar liar, I have overcome, Fly high, Live right, He did it all for me, etc
