Verse 1
It was late October
At the local shop just stopping over
Met her there somewhere in the heart of the east
Mother nature's work of art, she's just a masterpiece

My eyes and my heart couldn't let her be
She just wore a smile so unassumingly
Looking so innocent and so sweet
Could this be, she's nature's gift so young and so free

Hook
Onyinye, you came and stole my heart away
Onyinye, don't make me over baby
Onyinye

Verse 2
Onyinye, I looked into your eyes I saw so much love inside
You promised to love me for the rest of your life
Would you please let go of these wordly cares
Don't let the past come between what we share
I'm far from perfect but I cannot bear
If you breaking my heart over and over again
I'll give you one more chance, you so young and so free
But please don't move too fast for me

Repeat Hook

Bridge
Onyinye, years later you will understand
Don't be a hard rock cos you really are a gem
Onyinye, you got the hearts of men right in your palms
Just like your name
Please stay Heaven's gift to this man
Don't go away
Cos you are a gift, Onyinye
Don't go away
Baby
Cos you are a gift, Onyinye

Yeah (Don't make me over)

Repeat Hook

Onyinye
Baby

I can't believe I didn't hear about this song earlier, it's tres good

Obiwon was actually voted voice of the decade over some Nigerian heavyweights and even though he hasn't released too many songs, he's right in the mix.

I love this song from the first time i heard it on radio. Obiwon voice and Onyinye lyrics is just too tight. I love this track,I love Obiwon, this is one of the best nigerian R and B track I've ever heard.
