Mokobé Traoré is a Malian rapper and is one of Africa's foremost rappers after a lot of success with 113.
He's a member of Mafia k'1fry. Mokobe released a solo album in 2007 named Mon Afrique which proved to be very successful. This production featured many African superstars like Youssou Ndour, Fally Ipupa, Salif Keita, Patson, Viviane Ndour, Manu Chao, Amadou et Mariam, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Fou Malade, Sekouba Bambino Diabaté, Babani Koné & Popa, Booba, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, etc.
On June 11th 2007, Mokobe a young French Malian, from French fame group 113, released his first solo album : a mix of Hip Hop and African Sound
He is the 1st ever to have on reunited on one album all the best musician and singers from Africa : - Youssou N'Dour - Salif Keita - Seun Kuti - Tiken Jah Fakoly - Amadou & Mariam - Manu Tchao - Sekouba Bambino. and many more like french rapper Booba and Diams and even famous comedian Gohou Michel (Les Guignoles d'Abidjan, Ma Famille)
