I am not the best authority on Ugandan music but I will give these a stab.

Rocky Giant and Ragga Dee have been around for a while but when GNL is nominated twice, how can't you give him the award? Besides, that track with Navio of Klear Discussion is hawt! Salooni is my choice. Navio would be my choice for best hip-hop artiste.

Zuena has been one of the biggest songs in Uganda all year but will face a lot of competition with Juliana for her Diana song in the Best Afrobeat single. I'll go for Diana. Bobi Wine wins best Afro Beat Artiste/Group.

Wilson Bugembe for both gospel awards though it is nice to see Bebe Cool nominated here too.

Best Cultural Artiste/Group, Best Folkpop Artiste/Group, Best Kadongo Kamu Single, Best Kadongo Kamu Artiste/Group: I have no idea who should win these ones.

Bebe Cool is the biggest Ugandan artiste this year, he performed at Mandela's 46664 concert in London. That is huge, he should win Best Ragga Artiste/Group. Can we also give him the Best Reggae Artiste/Group award? I'll love to see Henry Tigan win this one too. He's doing it big with Marlon Asher.

I think the Best R&B Single should go to Juliana & Bushoke. I am a sucker for Juliana, so I guess I'll be voting for her in the Best R&B Artiste/Group category in a very tough category which features Michael Ross, Iryn Namubiru and the Obsessions Gals.

I am not living in Uganda to be checking out their Live Bands :-( but Eagles Production is monopolising the Best Live Band single category. I also can't nominate anyone for the regional categories with my little knowledge. Washington Harmony for Audio Producer of the Year!

Juliana is too big for her competitors in the Best Female Artiste race. Bobi Wine can't touch Bebe Cool's popularity this year in the Best Male Artiste race either. For Artiste of the Year, I vote for Bebe Cool

I vote Nakudata (Mozey Radio and Weasle ft. Omulangira Suuna for song of the year and the best video should be Anfukuula (Grace Nakimera), that is a pretty cool video.

Best New Artiste goes to Mozey Radio and Weasle who've turned their careers up a notch with this collaboration. Album of the Year goes to Bebe Cool. I like Silver Kyagulanyi a lot, I predict he'll win Song writer of the Year.
