    Moses Ssali

Bebe Cool (real name Moses Ssali) is a Ugandan reggae/ragga musician. Growing up, he performed in various secondary school shows and promotions. He was even once the entertainment prefect. His mentors are Bunju Bunton, Wyclef Jean and Beres Herman.

He started out in Nairobi, Kenya in 1997. There, he was connected to the Ogopa DJ's, a production house and record label based in Kenya.

Bebe Cool writes music as he gets inspired by present situations at each time, and personal experiences.

    Lilliane 'Lee' Mbabazi, Jackie Chandiru, Edith 'Mya' Baganda

Blu*3 is a pop group from Uganda that was started by Lilliane 'Lee' Mbabazi, Jackie Chandiru and Cinderella 'Cindy' Sanyu. Blu3 stands for 3 black ladies from Uganda. It is now made up of Lilian, Jackie and Mya aka Edith Baganda. Lee comes from western Uganda, Cindy and Jackie hail from the East and North respectively. They all grew up singing, leading choirs, etc

They won the Coca-cola popstars competition (2004) for Uganda and were molded into superstars as part of their winning package.

Faizel MC was born Fauz Bashir to a Ugandan mother and a Tanzanian father in Kenya. He lived in Uganda all his life where he studied his primary and secondary schools till he moved to Namibia.

Faizel MC started his music career at the age of 13 in 1995 where he performed at schools and was engaged in acting as well. In 1997, the superstar released a song called CHUNGA MACHO, which was not a success and then decided to continue with his studies.

Grace Nakimera is a Ugandan singer. She is from Muyanga, Bukasa. She was born in Kampala to Rose Nabulya and David Kalema.

As a child at the Nsambya Youth Sharing Centre, she was influenced by groups like Naughty by Nature and Niggers with Attitude (NWA). Grace Nakimera was part of the trio Grace, Gatimo and Paragon of “Ani akumanyi” (who knows you) fame. After the trio split, she released a single called 'Anfukula' which was a massive hit in Uganda and whose video won the best video at the 2008 PAM Awards.

    Henry Tony 'Tigan' Kirumaganyi

Henry Tony 'Tigan' Kirumaganyi is a reggae musician from Uganda. He picked Tigan from Tony and his last name. He plays the xylophone and his music can be classified under reggae, ragga and dancehall. He writes about a lot of social issues too.

He is a student of Adult and Community Psychology student at Kyambogo University. He started singing in at Africana Whiteland College (now Seroma Christian High School) and he was influenced by artistes like the late Philly Bongole Lutaaya, Kevin Lyttle and Mr.Vegas. Vegas was his first stage name.

Joseph Mayanja aka Chameleone (Chameleon), is a song-writer, emcee, artist and one of the biggest musicians in East Africa. His style of music is influenced by Afrobeat, Ragga, Dancehall, and uses a style that those in ragga circles called 'ruff neck'. He is known as Uganda's Michael Jackson. He sings in Luganda, Kiswahili, Rwandese, English, etc.

He grew up in a family of musicians; two of his uncles were good musicians, his dad played in a brass band and his grandfather played guitar at home.

Juliana Kanyomozi, popularly known as Juliana, is one of the premier songtresses in Uganda today. She started her career as a karaoke singer but after releasing a couple of albums, she's shot to fame, winning various awards. She also recorded with Irene under the name Ijay before going solo.

Michael Kakooza Ross 26, was born into a family of fourteen in Kampala Uganda. He started as a dancer while in primary through to College. His main influences were Usher, Guinwine , R kelly, Michael jackson, Mc Hammer and Bobby Brown.

During His primary school years, he and three other talented youngsters started a performing group which they affectionately named 'Boys in Rhythm'. Guided by business entrepreneur Peter Sematimba at Makindye's Dungeon studio, unfortunately the group disbanded soon after due schooling commitments.

Rocky Giant's real name is Fred Giriya

He comes from West Nile, but was born in Central Buganda. He speaks more Luganda than his mother tongue just because I grew up in Buganda. He lost both parents when he was six.

He ended up in Kampala in 1992 and with the help of a friend he got the chance to go to school being sponsored by Kampala Diocese.
In 1993 while in primary three was he joined the music scene by being with the church choir.

Adam Mukiibi is normally referred to as Ziggy D

He studied Information Technology student in Dar-es-Salaam. Ziggy Dee came into the limelight with chartbursting single Eno Mic in 2001, which was hugely popular.

He disappeared from the music scene and then he released a single in 2007 called Darlio which featured Susan 'Zazou' Semugabi. Darlio is a Tanzanian slang for 'darling'. The song is sung in both Kiswahili and Luganda.

The song glorifies an Afro-Arab lifestyle, such as the one in Dar-es-Salaam.
