Download Morale Mixtape for Free
“Morale has been hard at work; recording material and doing what he can to create a buzz around his name. A lot has been expected of this double-rhyming, studio fiend and his first mixtape has proven to be a definite collector’s item. What stands out most on this pre-album project is the merger between beats and lyrical content. He has proven his ability to take beats and base his lyrical content on what the beat is saying to him- an ability that very few MC’s posses. Although he has been accused of sounding like US rappers Jay-Z and AZ, it is clear that he is a true studio MC, focusing heavily on aspects such as rhyming technique, lyrical content and delivery. More than anything, this mixatpe show cases Morale’s ability to explore various themes and execute them with style and grace. Overall The Rising Son is a brilliant project where Morale has gone all out. It makes us wonders, however, if he has any of that fire left as he works on his debut LP. Only 2007 will tell.” TG from Hype magazine.
