Marvin Obinna Richie Akuba Chieme Chidera Junior, popularly known as Morachi, is a hip hop artiste from Nigeria. He hails from Imo State.
He spent his childhood at Bariga in Lagos and Ejigbo. He has finished secondary school and gained admission to study Music and Theatre Arts at the Minnesota State University, USA. He is a poet as well. His father is a pastor in the US who works with Bishop T. D Jakes. His debut album, the Proof, features the single Hapuya Lyke Dat which stayed weeks on the MTVBase Africa countdown and even was on top of the MTV worldwide charts. The album has reggae, urban pop,
Afro-beat, reggaeton, hip-hop, etc. The song Hapuya Lik Dat is inspired by the attitude of some people who backstab and gossip, an example is the discrimination between 'Ajepako' and 'Ajebutter' species. While in secondary school, he was nicknamed Mo-Chameleon because of his unpredictability. His label is named Mo-Chameleon Incoporated as a result (Mo-Inc)
Some of his songs include Jasi (Komole), Rockin', Superstar, Sexy Maria, Won ti gbo lo fa, Fire for fire, The Proof (Number 1), Tina, Hustler Story, Ole, Only You, etc.
