God's Own Radikals was formed in 2001 when 3 undergraduates of the then Ogun State University met at a local fellowship. The trio of Daddy D, Don - L n Donna-T started out miming songs of popular artistes and progressed into writing and recording their own materials. Daddy D relocated upon his graduation and the duo of Don-L n Donna- T have continued to work towards the release of a debut album.

God's Own Radicals employ a sound that is distinctly Nigerian with thumping basslines and driving beats, mixing indegenous language with the English language in their songs. The songs cover a wide variety of subjects with emphasis on the praise of the Most High God.
