Kaakyire Kwame Fosu has been jokingly called Ghana's R.Kelly and is a contemporary highlife musician. He was/is part of what was originally called the Hiplife Trinity and now goes by the name D-Style which means 'different style'
Kaakyire Kwame Fosu was born on Valentine's day, 1981 to Mr. Samuel Kwamena and Madam Akua Addotei.
He started out as a member of his junior school choir. He was also involved in the drama group where he was the group‘s comedian.
He started his professional music career by joining the Soundz Unlimited Jazz Band.
