6TH MARCH, 1957.
Does this ring a bell? The first country out of Sub-Saharan Africa to gain independence? What about “the battle has ended, Ghana, your beloved country, is free forever†These were the words from Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the first president of the Republic of Ghana when Ghana attained independence.
This year, Ghana is celebrating 50 years since independence and I am glad to announce it to the whole of Africa and the world at large. A lot of activities have been lined up for this event and I want to invite all Africans and stakeholders, investors to come join the people of “Gold Coast†(Ghana) on her anniversary.
